Rates
$200 for the initial 90 minute intake session, and $175 for
each follow-up 60 minute session. (Please note that these sessions use
the "therapist hour" - so 60 minutes are actually 50 minutes in length
with the other 10 minutes used for note-taking and other
administrative work for each client).
Insurance
Dr. Wilkens does not accept insurance for payment directly. However,
services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or
employee benefit plan for out-of-network services. Please check your coverage
carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Do I have out-of-network benefits, and if so, what do they cover for mental health services?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Dr. Wilkens can fill out any form required by an insurance provider or employee benefit plan for out-of-network services.
Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards, and health savings accounts (HSA)
accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have
not notified Dr. Wilkens at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required
to pay the full cost of the session.
